Beamin’ Suns Short Film Festival is not about the sun. It is the sun. A cultural movement transforming how cinema lives and evolves, it provides a platform, establishes networks, amplifies visibility, and encourages participation for filmmakers worldwide—at any career stage—and their bold, boundary-breaking works.

Beamin’ Suns Short Film Festival is founded, directed and organized by Beamin’ Suns and crafted by their studio, In The Closet. Beamin’ Suns is an artist collective, a media production hub, a cultural institution—and beyond! In The Closet is Beamin’ Suns’ creative engine: a media studio crafting graphic designs, film edits, and visual storytelling. Beamin’ Suns and its studio are currently based in the southwestern German state of Baden-Württemberg.
